Garang Asem (Pekalongan)

Bahan:
2 sdm minyak goreng
1 btg serai, memarkan
2 lbr daun jeruk
1 sdt garam
1 sdt gula pasir
2 bh belimbing sayur, potong-potong
1 sdm air asam
100 gr udang kupas
1 ltr air
2 bh wortel, potong dadu
100 gr kacang panjang, potong 3 cm
100 gr kacang tolo, rendam sampai lunak
5 lbr daun kol, potong-potong kotak
12 bh telur puyuh rebus, kupas

Haluskan:
3 bh cabai merah
4 siung bawang putih
7 bh bawang merah
3 cm kunyit
1/2 sdt terasi
1 sdt ketumbar

Cara membuat:
Panaskan minyak goreng, tumis bumbu halus sampai matang dan harum.
Masukkan serai, daun jeruk, garam, gula pasir, belimbing sayur, air asam, udang, dan kacang tolo.
Tuang air, didihkan.
Masukkan wortel, kacang panjang, kol, dan telur puyuh.
Aduk-aduk sampai matang dan bumbu meresap.
